About R C Burroughs

Progress is improving yourself by expanding and achieving your life's goals.

Since my graduation in 1992 at City College of San Francisco with a computer related degree, this website has been a work in progress while I worked on other people's websites and other "supporting work" was done. My basic computer Internet background education is primarily self taught and was achieved during the Dot.com boom working for DSP BBS in Alameda, California (Thank you "Monty" for the continued education and the job!).

I have been, and always will be, continuously studying to better master website setup, graphic design and layout, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL databases, and blogs. These are the basic foundation codings of every website and other software is constantly being added or updated to improve how a website is presented.

The published works of Eric Meyer, Owen Briggs, Jennifer Kyrnin, and others, wrote the guidelines I follow to Internet publishing. A happy union of the client's wants and needs and the standards set by the W3C are always my goal when creating a website. After more than a decade of doing webpages I'm not ready to publish a book expounding on some great website coding discovery I've made, but I am always ready to setup your website to present your company to the world through the Internet.
